I have had the opportunity to attend 4 different Tuesday Times Roundtable events. These events are sponsored by New York Times, where student and staff speak on different topics that are geared towards current events, both domestically and globally.
My favorite TTR event focused on the rise of Islamophobia in the U.S. This was a crucial and very important conversation that spoke on the issues that many Muslims face within the U.S. Due to global and domestic threats of individuals of the Islamic faith, many Muslim people within the U.S are faced with heightened ambiguity and mistreatment.
